This pedestrian stroll starts in the Bridge of Mouratos
and a mountain track go-in taking them to the Barranco dos Besteiros and to its cool
water source. Next we will pass by the Foz do Vale, place where we will be able to
see the mill with the same name, that a long time ago ground the flour that would
make the bread in this region. Finally we will go up in the mountain to meet Pereiras,
small typical village of the region.

This pedestrian stroll has a circular shape with the
origin and end in the Monte do Ferrenho and a moderate level of difficulty because
it takes the visitor to walk an unmasking different Alentejo. We leave in direction
of the Monte das Barreiras where we skirt it( in this track we will have the possibility
to observe varied faune: poop, jay, blackbird, and lark mostly at the end of the day).
We follow into the Barrage of the Zambujal where leading the water line, we will go
up until the higher point of this stroll, where we will be able to sight great part
of the Alentejo and Algarve. Next we go in direction of the Barranco do Carriçal where
we can satisfy your thirst on its fountain. To finish we will go down the Ribeira
de Corte Lobata heading to the Monte do Ferrenho where our stroll ends.

Small pedestrian stroll near the Monte do Ferrenho.
It has for objective to show our land (Pereiras), small village of the district of
Beja. Its name seems to come from so famous tree, the pear tree: village of agricultural
characteristics in this region where you can find the cork oak, holm oak, arbutus
tree (arbutus, fruit of which if it makes the so famous "medronho"). Small pedestrian
stroll that allows you the first contact with the nature.
